About the artist Hans Georg Leifecker

Hans Georg Leidenecker had the first points of contact with painting in the early 1980s. His initial guiding principle was: "Art must not be nice". His pictures were shaped by a god-and-consuming, cynical and pessimistic attitude that was reflected in dark, expressive and provocative paintings.

However, a healing through the divine force brought a radical change into his life. The desire to implement God's will led to the realization that true art can only arise in harmony with God. Since then, each of his work is preceded by a prayer in which he asks for divine leadership.

Over time, his paintings became increasingly realistic, clearer and more light. Whether on topics like "Angel", "Christ" or "On the way to God" - The healing, spiritual light is always in the center of his works.
