Pendant Shiva eye in gold

In order to protect themselves when danger threatens, turban and gyroscopic snails close their snail shell with a Shiva eye, whose name "Operculum" actually means lid.

When these marine animals die naturally, the Shiva eye detaches and can be found by divers on the seabed.

Already in the Stone Age, it was a popular piece of jewellery because of its unique beauty, which was to protect its owner from bad influences.

Even today, it is still regarded worldwide and in the most diverse cultures as a lucky charm and, as the "third eye" of the Hindu god Shiva, symbolises knowledge and wisdom.

In particular, it has a calming and harmonizing effect. The spiral of the Shiva eye stands for development and positive energy, which protects and guards.

The Shiva eye should be worn mainly on the body.

Since Shiva eyes are natural products, each one has an individual colouring of the spiral. Therefore they are unique pieces, which can differ from the photo.
