Cow dung ashes

This 100% pure ash is made from the cow dung of the Desi Gir cow.

Cow dung ash has many uses and healing benefits in India. This powder is fine, unscented and free of chemicals. It is most commonly used by Homas.

It can be used as a vibhuti and placed on the forehead during the puja to receive blessings, to eliminate ignorance and to protect from negative energies. Vibhuti from native Indian cow dung is considered the best ash. It is also applied to wounds in India, especially for diabetics, as its antiseptic properties allow wounds to heal quickly. When sprinkled on plants, it acts as a natural and safe pesticide. When mixed with water and tamarind, it helps to polish copper and brass articles.
