Mehndi paste for Henna/Mehndi tattoos

Mehndi or Mehendi is the term for the artistic ornamental body painting with henna, originating from northwest India, today's Pakistan. It is used for cosmetic and ritual purposes and has been known since ancient times. It is said to have originated in Persia and spread from there to India, the Arabian Peninsula and North Africa.

In India and other countries the bride receives for example for the wedding and other ceremonies an artistic painting with henna on her hands, possibly forearms and feet. The henna symbolizes the strength of love. The darker the henna, the stronger the love.

The powder comes ready for use in a practical cone-shaped package.
