In the early 80s Hans Georg Leiendecker came into contact with painting for the first time.

The most important motto of this time: "Art must not be beautiful".

Thus the pictures of this time are characterized by a God-denying, cynical and pessimistic attitude.

He paints predominantly expressive, provocative, gloomy.

A healing by the divine power brings a radical change.

The desire to implement the will of God from now on brings with it the realization that true art can only be created in harmony with God.

Everything else becomes meaningless and empty in the long run.

Since then his work has always been preceded by a prayer, with the request for divine guidance.

His painting became increasingly realistic, brighter and clearer.

Whether with themes such as "Angels", "Christ" or "On the way to God", the healing, spiritual light is always the centre.
