Rudraksha-Mala medium

The word Rudraksha has its etymological origin in the two Sanskrit words "Rudra" and "Aksha", which mean Lord Shiva and tears.

Shiva meditated for the good of all mankind and wept tears of compassion which turned into Rudrakshasamen when they touched the earth.

Since then Rudrakshas have been revered as holy and are said to have healing powers.

So these special seeds are supposed to bring inner peace, knowledge, power and spiritual vibrations.

The malas have the following measurements, which can vary slightly, because it is a natural product and therefore the Rudrakshas cannot be absolutely identical.

Furthermore, the malas in India are hand-knotted, which also results in differences in length.
