Fresh Rudraksha seeds to plant a Rudraksha tree.

The Rudraksha tree grows quickly and bears fruit within three to seven years. There are over 120 different types of Rudraksha trees worldwide. Their English name is Utrasum Bead Tree. In Indonesia, the
Rudraksha tree called Ganitri tree or Jenitri tree. About 70% of Rudraksha trees are found in Indonesia, 25% in Nepal and 5% in India. Many of these trees grow in special power places or near Shiva temples.

Rudraksha "pearls" are the seeds obtained from the fruit of the Rudraksha tree. These "seed capsules" are covered by an outer shell which is blue when fully ripe, that is why they are called "blueberry bead".
