Black Narmada Shiva-Lingam in silver as pendant

A black Shiva lingam is not easy to find and therefore only occasionally available in limited quantities. If the colored Narmada lingam already has great power, this black one is even more powerful and can take in unlimited negativity. The name Shiva can also be translated as light or fire and lingam can be translated as column or tower. If we now put this play on words together we see that Shivalingam means "pillar of light" (or fire). The ancient Indian scriptures emphasize that a Shivalingam is a powerful symbol of light, surrounded by a garland of flames that rise from the earth to the sky, sending light and warmth to all those who come within its reach.
