Tulsi means "the incomparable" and is a type of basil native to India.

It is known in Ayurveda as the holiest plant and is considered to be very lucky and divine because of its immune-strengthening effect.

Their appearance, aroma and fragrance is uniquely soothing.

It is said that the goddess Tulsi (Tulasi) slipped into the form of this medicinal plant to serve and protect people.

The "Queen of Herbs", as Tulsi is also called, grows in the garden of every Indian temple and house.

A Hindu's house would simply be incomplete without this healing and protective herb.

Tulsi strengthens the immune system, improves metabolism and helps to reduce stress.

This mala is mainly used in rituals, for energetic cleansing and to keep negative things away.

Tulsi is best suited for rituals to Vishnu, Rama or Krishna.

A Tulsi-Mala can also be used for Hanuman mantras, as Hanuman is in direct connection with Rama and his energy.

Tulsi also gives peace of mind and reduces stress.
