Shaligramas (ammonites) are fossils blessed by Vishnu energy, found only in the Gandaki River, also called Kali Ghandaki. This black Gandaki originates in Mustang, in the north of the Himalayas and flows westwards along the deepest valley in the world. The Sahligramas found there are evidence of thousands of years of history and have a dark grey to black colour due to the depth of the valley.
